Is January a good time to go to Las Vegas?

Yes, it’s also the cheapest time to travel to Sin City. Holiday and New Year’s festivities have passed, and January is just before March Madness sports betting in Las Vegas.

Front Desk Tip states, “When you go to the front desk to check into a hotel, they will ask for a credit card, driver’s license or passport. Slip a $20 bill between your ID and credit card and ask the clerk if any complimentary upgrades are available. There must be more to it than that, you’re thinking. But nope – it’s that easy.”

5 days or nights in Las Vegas is the ideal vacation time. You’ll have enough days to visit a few Vegas highlights and lesser-known hidden gems and also have at least one day to venture off to a beautiful natural attraction outside the city.

5 days is also the perfect balance of time to explore Las Vegas without feeling rushed, while also planning what you’ll do the next time you return!

Vegas on a $500 budget is still a very good time! You’ll have enough money for a 2-3 day stay, and the key is not to try to do everything at once, skip the casinos, indulge in as many free attractions as possible, and indulge in hearty buffet meals during your stay.

For a trip to Las Vegas where you can comfortably enjoy the city’s world-famous restaurants, casinos, entertainment venues, and shows, a suggested budget would be at least $250 a day.
