“I come from a family of caterers, musicians, and entertainers, so naturally, I’ve always been drawn to Las Vegas!”
I’m Shaunda Necole, author of 100 Things to Do in Las Vegas Before You Die, the ultimate insider’s bucket list guide to the City of Lights! My travel site, Vegas Right Now!, is where I share the lesser-known aspects of my home city, the real Las Vegas that tourists rarely get to know. We proudly call it the “Entertainment Capital of the World,” and I assure you that Vegas lives up to that name!
Like many residents here, my husband and I began our journey with Las Vegas two decades ago as tourists. The city’s charm was so irresistible that we decided to make it our home. We boldly moved from coastal Virginia Beach to Viva Las Vegas, a decision we’ve never regretted.
We feel like we hit the jackpot when it comes to living in Las Vegas! This city is a treasure trove of experiences waiting to be discovered. This inspired me to create Vegas Right Now!, a travel site that curates and categorizes the best things to do in Las Vegas, making it easy and reassuring for you to explore.
